2014 Olivier Bernstein Chambertin Grand Cru
94-97 Vinous "Deep medium red. More red than black fruits on the nose, complicated by notes of musky game, crushed stone, mint, spices and violet. This wonderfully sweet, pliant wine seems deceptively easy to taste now but its flavors of acidulated fruits show terrific energy and the very long finish brings serious mineral grip. Perhaps a bit less elegant today than the Clos de Bèze but still fine-grained and perhaps even longer. The noble tannins hit the palate late and build."
