2017 Jean-Baptiste Adam Riesling Les Natures
92pts Vinous "Bright straw-green. Strong notes of white pepper complement floral and fresh citrus fruit on the lively nose and in the mouth. Nicely textured and juicy, this finishes very energetic and long, not to mention bone-dry (4.7 g/L r.s. and 7.4 g/L total acidity). Outstanding entry-level Riesling and very food-friendly, offering lot of wine for the money. Adam and Raffin have hit a home run here. In 2017, this was made only with grapes grown around Ammerschwihr (in some years, Adam chooses to declassify a plot of vines from his Letzenberg into this wine, but as in 2017, there was so little Letzenberg made that he did not have enough to do so)."
